JAMB PEGS 180, 160 FOR ADMISSION INTO VARSITIES, POLYTECHNICS Rising from a meeting between heads of tertiary institutions and the ministers of education, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has pegged 180 as minmum score for admission into universities and 160 for polytechnics. Minister of state education Nyesom advocated 150 for polytechnics.

MAN HANDS OVER HIS 'BOKO HARAM' SON TO JTF A 60 year old man has handed over his biological son to JTF in Maidugiri Borno state. The son was a member of the Boko Haram sect. The son was eventually killed by the JTF after the dad handed him over and as he tried to flee. The son had come to his father and confessed that he had been part of the sect and had been involved in bank raids and killing of people. He sought refuge. But the father said he couldnt keep someone who has murdered people. The son before had earlier threatened to kill the dad. He confessed that he had two cars and hid about 2million naira near the house.
