MANY KILLED, OTHERS INJURED AS GUNMAN OPENS FIRE Today at Bigi village in Bauchi state, a gunman opened fire on people killing many and injuring others. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the number of casualties has not been determined. The police confirmed the incident. Spokesman of the police Abbas Abdulahi said not all that were shot died. The victims have been taken to the University Teaching Hospital in Bauchi. The police said they will soon announce the casualty figure.
