ANAMBRA NOW NIGERIA'S 10TH OIL-PRODUCING STATE Anambra State yesteday was proclaimed an oil-bearing state by the Federal Government of Nigeria. At the inauguration of Orient Petroleum facility at Aguleri President Goodluck Jonathan decried the over-dependence of the nation's income on oil and harped on the need to diversify with a special eye on Agriculture. Orient Petroleum is also building a refinery which will help reduce the importation of refined petroleum products into the country.
