SENEGAL'S PRESIDENT WANTS SENATE SCRAPPED, AND MONEY DIVERTED TO FIGHTING FLOODING Senegal's President Marky Sall Wednesday advocated the scrapping of the country's Legislative arm The Senate. He wants the money-about 12 million Euros- budgeted for the Senate to used to check flooding in some parts of the country. Mr. Sall was on an official visit to South africa when he was informed that flood has ravaged some parts of his country. The Senate of that country is yet to comment on Mr. President's statement. There may be clash between the lawmakers and the President over the comment.
