SENATE IN SECRET DEBATE OVER STATE OF EMERGENCY Reports from the National Assembly indicate that the Senate has gone into a secret session to consider the State of Emergency declared by the Federal Government in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states. After reading the letter from the president as to that regard, the senators went into the secret session to debate on the measure. By this, the public will not know the individual opinion of the senators. 2/3rd majority from the senate and the house of representatives is required for the measure to be endorsed.
