OBASANJO REJECTS N5000 NOTE, SAYS IT WILL KILL SMALL BUSINESSES Opponents of the introduction of N5000 notes into the Nigerian economy got a strong supporter yesteday as former President Olusegun Obasanjo condemned the policy saying that the new N5000 note will kill production and small businesses. Obasanjo spoke at a forum in Lagos. He cautioned the Central Bank of Nigeria against the move. He said that the way the CBN is fighting inflation is not good.
