UBA DENIES $15 MILLION 'IBORI BRIBE' CASH Senator Andy Uba fingered by businessman Achigbu as the person he gave the $15 million to give former EFCC chairman Nuhu Ribadu has denied the accusation saying he merely allowed Ibori to use his house for the transaction. Mallam Nuhu Ribadu had accused former Delta State governor James Ibori as having attempted to bribe him in order to let go of money laundering charges against him(Ibori) by the EFCC in 2006. Ibori has since denied the claims. A federal high court has since declared that the owner of the money should come claim. Delta state government has laid claim to the cash until a businessman came up with his own story that the money was meant for the 2007 Presidential poll.
